All In One (AIO) nappies are exactly that! Everything is all in one piece, the closest you'll find to a disposable nappy!

All In Two/Hybrid
All In Two (AI2) or Hybrid nappies as they are otherwise know as are my personal favourite for the fact that they are an economical way to use Modern Cloth Nappies. The Soakers simply unsnap from the Shells when wet and can be replaced with clean, dry Soakers for the Shell to be reused.

Pockets
Pocket Nappies are a popular option. Simply 'stuff' the nappy with the required amount of microfibre or bamboo inserts that your baby requires.

Pre-Folds
Pre-Fold nappies are an economical way to use cloth nappies and consist of a pre-fold cotton soaker and a separate water proof Shell. I recommend that even if you choose not to use this kind of nappy all the time, you should have some of these in your stash as an economical way of having some back ups.
