SoapNuts

SoapNuts are small berries that fall from the SoapNut tree growing wild in Northern India. The berry is gathered by hand, dried by the sun, and then deseeded. SoapNuts contain saponin that release mild soapsuds when wet. Soapnuts have strong antibacterial properties that effectively replace chemical detergents and soaps.
SoapNut Shells 1kg
SoapNuts, 1kg and a free cotton washbag. This 1kg bag of soapnuts will wash up to 365 loads of laundry or dishes. Add 6-8 SoapNuts to the washbag provided & place inside the washing machine with your clothes. SoapNuts produce low suds & are suitable for use in both front & top loading machines. The rinse cycle need not be used. If you enjoy scented laundry add 3-5 drops of essential oil to the washbag. The shells, powder and the sachets are compostable.
